IT SALES ENGINEER

Reports to the CTO (Chief Technology Officer).

Position Summary:

Our company is seeking an experienced IT Sales Engineer to join our team and work with our healthcare services industry clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare IT, technical sales support, an in-depth knowledge of healthcare technologies, and experience in supporting the technical needs of existing clients. The primary responsibility of the IT Sales Engineer will be to support client “stickiness” and revenue growth by developing and executing strategies for our life science clients, building relationships, and contributing to technical sales presentations. The successful candidate will work closely with our sales team, technical teams, leadership and clients to ensure that our products and services meet their specific needs.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify, develop and close sales opportunities with pharma and healthcare services clients by promoting our products and services.
  • Develop a strong understanding of healthcare technology trends and the challenges faced by healthcare organizations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized technical solutions to meet client needs.
  • Build relationships with healthcare and pharma industry decision-makers and key stakeholders.
  • Deliver technical sales presentations and product demonstrations to clients.
  • Work with clients to ensure that they receive a high level of customer service and support.
  • Participate in industry events and conferences to promote our products and services.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the CTO (and other top executives, where applicable).

Education, Experience and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare IT sales.
  • Strong technical knowledge of healthcare technologies such as EHR/EMR, PACS, HL7, FHIR, etc.
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Experience with consultative selling and solution development.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, employees, or senior management.
  • Maintain HIPAA patient confidentiality as well as discretion regarding clients and proprietary company information.

Direct hire, full-time, onsite opportunity in Maitland, FL. (Remote may be considered, if approved in the future, must be in the U.S. on the East Coast.)

Hours and Compensation:

Full-time hours, based on business and team needs. Competitive compensation may start at $75K, and higher may be possible, but any offer would be based upon experience, education, interview process, and other factors. Position is benefits eligible.
